MRSA Strips
MRSA Strips
MRSA Strips are a traditional strip based sensitivity test for simple identification of Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) bacteria. Method of use: Inoculate suitable sensitivity agar plate with a streak of the test organism. Up to 6 organisms can be accommodated on one plate, using parallel streaks. Place one MRSA Strip on the agar at right angles to the streaks and incubate overnight. When inspected next day, sensitive organisms will not have grown close to strip (within 15mm), but resistant strains will grow right up to the strip, or to within 10mm.
Features:
Convenient single strip instead of discs
Easy to set up
Up to 6 test organisms per plate
Easy to read 50 strips per unit
