Oxidase Strips

Rapid diagnostic test for cytochrome oxidase enzyme present in Pseudomonas, Neisseria, Campylobacter.

Rapidly detects presence of the enzyme Cytochrome Oxidase produced by a number of bacteria, including Pseudomonas, Neisseria and Campylobacter. Each Oxidase Strip is impregnated with a colourless redox dye (tetramethyl-p-phenylenediamine dihydrochloride) and ascorbic acid. Oxidase Strips are a convenient ready-to-use oxidase test, conveniently removing the daily requirement to prepare fresh reagent.
