Flow cytometry is a highly accurate technology used for cell measurements. High quality particles, supplied from Polysciences, are used to calibrate these instruments. Particles are manufactured primarily for inclusion in diagnostic assays and are purchased in liters and possibly hundreds of liters at a time. Shelf life for our Flow Check® beads is two years from date of shipment. No leaching, degradation, or contamination is expected. Store material at 4ºC and protect from light. No biocides are added during the manufacturing process. DI water is recommended for all particle handling and dilution operations.
