Microring® AN for identification of Non-Sporing Anaerobes
Description: Paper ring with 6 individual printed tips containing various antimicrobial reagents. The resistance or sensitivity patterns can be used to help identify non-sporing anaerobic bacteria.
Method of Use: A suspension of test organism is spread onto an anaerobic agar plate. One Microring® AN is laid on top of agar, and plate is incubated overnight at 37°C. Following incubation growth patterns around each tip are read and used to identify the organism.
