Granular Blue (GB) is a fluorescent retrograde tracer used in experimental studies of the peripheral nervous system to determine the number and origin of neurons projecting to a specific area.

In rats, GB is effectively transported over long distances to produce blue fluorescent labeling of neuronal cytoplasm in cell bodies and proximal dendrites. It also produces an accumulation of silver-blue granules in cytoplasm.
