Purolite® UCW9966, Low TOC Non-Separable Mixed Bed Resin, H/OH Form is a non-separable ready to use, 1:1 chemical equivalent mixed bed resin that is highly regenerated in the H+ and OH- forms. UCW9966 resin is manufactured by a proprietary process that provides ultra low TOC leakage and the highest quality water to be achieved, essential for critical UPW applications. The cation and anion components used in UCW9966 are gel resins that are polymerized with a styrene-divinylbenzene matrix and functionalized. The resin beads are highly durable and resist fragmentation that can result in particle release in the treated water. The cation resin, in UCW9966 is regenerated to a minimum of 99.9% plus in the H+form. The anion resin is regenerated to a minimum 95%in the OH-form, and has a maximum of 0.1 % chloride. UCW9966 is for polishing or non-regenerating mixed beds. These mixed beds are defined as units that usually run for 1 – 2 years between regenerations. Once exhausted, the resin is sent to a service center for regeneration, or it can be used as top-up for a working mixed bed. UCW9966 will NOT separate when initially loaded and will produce ultra-pure water with>18.2 MΩ·cm resistivity and < 1 ppb for either TOC, silica or trimethylamine (TMA).
