Thiol PEGs

Our diverse thiol PEGs allow for the one-step passivation of metal surfaces with countless functionalities. These PEGs are especially useful in bionanotechnology and nanomedicine that rely on gold nanoparticles (AuNPs).

Selected Research:

Thiol PEG Amine (Cat No. 26216-26218) is used in a fluorescence assay to quantify AuNP passivation. The life-time for PEGs used to passivated AuNP are thoroughly analyzed. Maleimide PEG NHS ester (Cat No. 26205-26207) is also used for peptide conjugation.
