Cryo-embedding matrix for fresh, unfixed specimens for cryostat sectioning.

Colors provide excellent contrast to light colored tissue and small biopsies; enabling them to be easily identified during cryosection.

Experience less curling, less ice artifacts, and exceptional freezing with our enhanced formulation of freezing medium.

Freezes quickly and supports the tissue for sectioning at 4μ and up, with no cracking of the matrix at temperatures from -8°C to -25°C.

Polyfreeze is compatible with routine & special stains, immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, and enzyme histochemical procedures.
