Periodic Acid Schiff Methenamine Silver Stain for Basement Membranes

This comprehensive 8 component Jones PAS-M technique utilizes an enhancer to accelerate the methenamine silver reaction with the glomerular basement membranes, while reducing the time to achieve results with a more stabilized silver solution. Jones PAS-M is used in kidney biopsies, and may also be used for glomerular and tubular basement membranes.
